Be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire - Jennifer Lee

What keeps you from living out your wildest dreams? Chances are, your reasons (read: excuses) might be rooted in fear: fear of not having enough or being enough.

Fear operates on the level of the mind. It's a signal meant to protect us from danger, physical or emotional. But our fear response will hold us back if we let it.  And if we let our fears call the shots in the background of our minds, you can bet there is a whole world, a whole life, we're missing out on. 

I should know. I've been there, sitting, waiting, wishing for something else, something greater from life. Seeing clearly what I wanted, but being debilitated by my "what ifs", "but hows" and "not nows". Over time and with some work (you've got to do the work), the fearful voice inside has gotten quieter. Sometimes, it has even gone away all together. So what did I do? Well, that's what I want to share with you. 

Enter: Fearless Flow yoga

Yoga has of course been a huge part of my journey through "self-uncovery". But not the only part. Writing, meditation, reflection, and sharing have been just as valuable. With that in mind, I created Fearless Flow Yoga; a class that emphasizes personal expression and exploration over the mechanics, structure and routine that you might find in a typical yoga class. Yes, there will be elements of asana (postures), pranayama (breathing), and meditation, but we're here to break the mould, not fit into one. Each class will be an invitation to challenge your mind, as much as you challenge your body. 

Will going to one yoga class really make you fearless? Real-talk: nope. But it's a great start. But be warned: this ain't your mama's yoga class. Parts will seem familiar, yes. But sometimes, familiar keeps us comfortable. Complacent, even. And if that's your jam, then stay sweet, my friend. No problems here. But what happens when things get sticky? When we're met with some resistance? Are you going to recoil and say "no thanks", or are you going to spread it on thick like peanut butter and enjoy every damn bite? 

We live up to our fullest potential when we're pushed out of our comfort zone. Lean into that which you want to resist. Show up and I'll guide the rest.
